Questionnaire
The actors I see booking the most jobs are the ones who realize that being an actor goes far beyond Acting. Part of your job, along with your agents and manager, is to know how to market you. Though it is helpful being good at acting, a bad actor can still be a working actor as long as they know how to market themselves. This might help explain the careers of several celebrities out there today... I'm not naming names... but I'm sure you can think of a few. These questions are here to help us figure out what we need to focus on during our shoot. Please take some time to fill this out before the shoot.
Agency/Management Representation: What age range are you going for? What are 3-5 types/parts you regularly book, audition for, or would like to be auditioning for? Where are you most marketable? Please be more specific than saying “Theatrical” or “Commercial”. For Example: Are you the “Witty Best Friend” or the “Romantic Lead with a Something to hide”?
Please list 5 adjective that your family or friends might use to describe you. Next to the adjective, please write down anything, or better yet a couple of things, that make you feel that way. I suggest thinking about specific memories, people, places, or times in your life.
When someone looks at your new headshots, what are 5 adjectives a stranger would use to describe the person in the picture? Even if some of them are the same as the pervious question, still fill in the second part with a couple of things that make you feel that way.
Please let me know any other thoughts/comments you might feel will be useful for the shot. Please retype the below security code: Security Code:
